You’re never more fully alive than when you’re on mission with Christ.
Pray.
And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Luke 10:2

The People : Japan is 99% non-believing. There are around 2 million people in the Hiroshima metro area. The math alone speaks for itself. In light of the devastating atomic bomb, the culture of Hiroshima revolves around peace among man. But without a significant church planting movement, the reality is that the vast majority of the people will die without making peace with God because they’ve never heard of Him.
The Partners : Mustard Seed Christian Church was planted in 2023 in the heart of Hiroshima. This church is led by Pastor Michael Creed, alongside his wife Yumi and two other couples: the Sugawaras and the McCollums. Our financial support will specifically go to Shutaro and Caitlyn Sugawara.
The Prayer : Pray for the Creeds, the Sugawaras, and the McCollums as they work hard to reach Hiroshima with the good news of the gospel. Pray for more gospel-laborers in Hiroshima, for more people to move to Japan as missionaries, and for the church members to grow as discple-makers. Pray that peaceseeking locals will be hear about Jesus and put their trust in the Prince of Peace.

The People : Malawi is a small East African country near Tanzania and Mozambique. Its capital and largest city is Lilongwe. This country is very young in a literal sense: the median age is 18 and 50% of the population is younger than 16 years old. With a rampant poverty and government corruption, the Malawi people are acquainted with suffering. On paper Malawi seems to be very Christian, but in reality, the most prevalent ideology is a false gospel — the Prosperity Gospel. And there is a serious need for healthy, educated church leadership: there are 2000 baptist churches and 80% of them don’t have a pastor.
The Partners : Charles Corn and his family arrived in Malawi this summer to serve as IMB missionaries. Their focus is to identify and train church leaders in Biblical ministry through mentorship and pastoral seminars. The first year of their ministry will be spent learning the language and culture, and building relationships with locals.
The Prayer : Pray for the Corn family as they work diligently to learn the language - this will factor heavily into their longevity in ministry. Pray for their transition as a family, especially for the kids. Pray that they would be healthy and steadfast in ministry as they put down roots in Malawi. Pray for God to provide key connections and opportunities that they can pursue long term. Pray that the true gospel would bring eternal hope to those searching for it elsewhere.

The People : Although much of the city of this Eastern European city may call themselves Christian, most hold to a skewed view of the gospel. The Prosperity Gospel and Eastern Orthodox Christianity are prevalent, but only 0.8% of the population truly believes in the true gospel. Despite its rich history in the spread of Christianity, this country experienced a significant wave of atheism and persecution due to communist rule for roughly 50 years. The Christian movement is still developing — there is currently only one reformed church in this city.
The Partners : The Williams are missionaries here. Their focus: equipping locals to share the gospel and plant churches across this city. Through discipleship and biblical counseling, they are helping Eastern European believers reach their neighbors with the gospel.
The Prayer : Pray for the Williams as they help establish a brand new church plant in this Eastern European city. Pray for their counseling and discipleship relationships — that God would equip leaders through the Williams. Pray for the Spirit to move in the hearts of locals — for revival to spark in Jesus’ name.

The People : Toronto, Canada as a whole is incredibly diverse and under-reached with the gospel. While we care deeply about the city as a whole, our trip specifically focuses on Persian immigrants fleeing oppression and turmoil in Iran. They largely come from a Muslim background, most are largely detached from Islam and many are actively seeking Christianity! The challenge: connecting them to a Persian church near them.
The Partners : Think of our Toronto partners as two churches connected by one missionary. Over the past few years, we’ve partnered with a church called Fellowship Church Rouge Park, pastored by Kesavan Ballasingham. They are leading the charge for church planting and leadership development for churches in their area. Kevin Morgan is an IMB Missionary who is a member of Fellowship Rouge Park. His work is focused specifically on supporting Persian churches in Toronto. He works closely Pastor Nathanael Fallahi at God’s Body Church, which is a newer church plant that ministers to Iranian immigrants in Toronto.
The Prayer : Pray for God to provide more church planters and evangelists in Toronto who can proclaim the gospel to the lost. Pray for Pastor Kesavan and Fellowship Rouge Park as they continue to raise up leaders and invest in families. Pray for God’s Body Church and the Fallahi family — for financial provision, for continued spiritual growth, and for their evangelistic efforts.

8 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20
